Tips & Safety
Explore Popoyo by moto the right way
Helmets
It's best not to leave the helmets on the steering as petty theft is common. Try to leave your stuff with the closest restaurant to the breaks if you go for a surf.

Documents
Keep the moto documents (circulation & insurance cards) with your driver's license or in a safe place.

Surf Rack
Check the surf rack regularly to make sure the bolt is tight and surfboards are well tied in the bungee cords. This is important because local roads are bumpy and the racks can become loose. Feel free to call us if you need help!

Police
If there is a police stop, you will see an orange cone in the road. Here, you will show your moto documents and driver's license OR turn around and go the other way OR wait until the road block is finished.

Kill Switch
If your moto won't start, you most likely hit the red kill switch (on the steering) by accident. Hit the switch the other way and try to start the motorcycle again.

Beach
Driving on the beach where there are crossings is OK, but driving on the other beach areas is illegal. Also, the sand can erode the bikes, so make sure to wash your moto off if you are passing through the sand and mud frequently. You can stop by the shop during business hours for a wash.

Extensions
If you decide that you would like to extend your Popoyo moto rental, please contact us to make sure the moto is not reserved first and to plan the extension. We do not accept payment from deposit money.

Accidents
Please contact us immediately in case of any emergency or problem. We are here to help the best we can. We appreciate that you keep in touch with us and want to make sure that you are safe. We have trusted mechanics and inventory for broken parts or accessories at lower rates.
