If you’re looking for something exciting to do with the family in Popoyo that keeps both the kids and the adults happy, this spot is a great option. It's called Jardines del Paraiso and it is located at the bottom of the road from Magnific Rock, and just across the street from the entrance to the beach. Some people never even know about it because its tucked just off of the main road.

What you’ll find there
There’s a large pool for everyone to enjoy, plus a smaller pool for younger kids. The two slides are a highlight and keep kids entertained for hours.
Around the pool, there are shaded areas, palm trees, pool tables and lots of seating so you can relax or play pool away from the sun while the kids play.

Food + drinks
Inside, there’s a restaurant if you want something pool-side.

Pool Pricing
Adults:
140 córdobas during the week
180 córdobas on weekends
Kids under 12: half price
Not swimming? Adults pay half price to enter
It’s an easy place to spend a few hours without spending much.
Right at the entrance, there’s also a small BBQ spot called Lili Patacones, that grills chicken and sometimes fish. It’s simple, fresh, and perfect for lunch or dinner. They also serve natural fruit drinks and beers.
Local tip. Eat at lunch at the pool and then watch the sunset on the beach, and come back at night to get dinner at the beachside restaurant, Lili Patacones.

Stay longer if you want
There are also apartments around the pools of Jardines del Paraiso, if you want to stay overnight and make a little getaway out of it.

Sunset in Popoyo Paradise
After a day of fun, you can walk across the street to the beach and watch the sunset with many local and expat families that come to enjoy it too. If there are older kids in the family who want to surf during the day, Magrock is just around the corner, really easy to walk to from the pools. Sardina Surf Camp is next door if you need a guide (or a good coffee). There are also surf camps and board rentals just in front of the breaks of Sardina Bay in front of Magnific Rock. If you are looking for even later night life after, there's a cool bar tucked further behind Jardines de Paraiso called Tipsy Gypsy. Check them out here.
Jardines del Paraiso is right in the heart of it all. You show up, the kids are entertained, there’s food on-site, keep your belly full and relax your mind a bit. If you’re in Popoyo and want a solid family plan, this is one to keep in mind. Don't forget to rent a moto or scooter with Popoyo Moto Rental if you need help getting around!
